"What's in your closet?!" by Ashley Marie

Now, when it comes to me I am a fashion freak! I can't leave the house without buying something to add to my clothing repertoire. I have racks on racks on racks of clothes. Recently, my pole and shelf in my closet collapsed from how many clothes I had. I was devastated. (Moment of silence for the tragedy). But even though I have all of these clothes, I still have my top 5 go to pieces that I cannot live without.

The Blazer.

Now even though I have different colors and styles of blazers in my closet, I always can count on the classic and sophisticated look of my black blazer. It goes with everything and is thick enough to keep me warm on a chilly night. I paid the discounted price in Old Navy of $20 from $60. LOVE!

The Cardigan.

I loooove a cardigan! I can wear it all day everyday. They give me peace and comfort throughout my day. I have so many different styles that I can wear a cardigan of my choice year round. Now being that my cardigan collection is so large, I cannot just pinpoint one. So I hope I can slide with a 2 for 1. The first is my black boyfriend cardigan from Old Navy. It's long and loose and also has pockets which is an added bonus. It's like my everyday go to. I paid the discounted price of $15 from $30. The second is a black cardigan adorned with gray stars from Forever 21. I love it. I literally find a way to work it into my outfit. I paid $12 for it.

The Bag.

Now this is another 2 for 1 deal. (Am I cheating or nah...?) The first is my small over the shoulder Michael Kors bag. I love and it keeps it simple for me when I don't want the hassle of a big bag. I paid $50 at Marshall's compared to its original price of $130. Talk about savings! The second is my black Betsey Johnson purse. If anybody knows me, they know I love me some Betsey. This bag holds my life. I paid $60 at Marshall's from its original price of $140. Again, those savings.

The Windbreaker.

WINDBREAKER! Everyone had them when they were a kid. Those things were amazing. But they were really popular in the 80s and 90s. While strolling around in a thrift store up north on Belmont, I discovered the Holy Grail of windbreakers. They have so many and I just wanted to buy them all. (Which I plan on doing when I go back.) But there was one that spoke to me. My black and leopard windbreaker is everything! Leopard is my favorite color (besides pink), and this is a must have for me. A good fall or spring find. I paid $15.

The Jeans.

Let me tell you, ball is not life, jeans are! My black skinnies to be exact. I love a black skinny jean. I have about maybe 6 pairs of skinnies, all the same brand and style. The Rockstar skinny from Old Navy. They give me life. I always pay the sale price $20 from $34.

Besos,

Ashley Marie
