How to get this look

To get the following look you'll need the things below in the pictures.

Step 1: ALWAYS ALWAYS START WITH A CLEAN FACE!
Step 2: Apply Primer/moisturizer. This allows the next step (foundation) to last all day.
Step 3: with the Kabuki brush apply the foundation that best matches your skin tone all over or just on the blemishes you have. Foundation doesn't have to go all over, all the time. On this step be sure the foundation disappears into your skin, if it doesn't you have the wrong color foundation.
Step 4: Apply concealer of your choice to cover dark circles under eyes and blemishes on your face. When putting on concealer under eyes DO NOT dot it on. For best coverage apply it in a upside down triangle shape or like below in a messy X shape.
Step 5: blend in concealer with the blending sponge below. Be sure to blend the product into face completely with a tapping/ pressing motion.

Step 6 (optional): If you'd like you can also apply concealer over & under eyebrow before filling in eyebrows in a later step. If you do this step, blend the concealer with the blending sponge you used in step 5.
Step 7: After applying foundation & concealer, apply your blush. To be sure the product gets where it's needed, smile and apply to the balls of your cheeks
Step 8 (optional): Apply bronzer.
Below shows you where to apply bronzer and the blush. The Brown Lines are where to put bronzer. The pink lines are where to apply the blush.
Step 9: now it's time for eyeshadow! But first you need to apply an eyeshadow primer (different than the first primer you used) this eyeshadow primer allows for your eye shadow to not fall into the creases of your eyelids, that makes the look less attractive.
Step 10: Apply a transition color. This allows for your eyeshadows to make a smooth transition so it doesn't appear in "strips."
Step11: Apply a dark color to the crease and drag it to the middle of your lid.
Step 12: Apply a brown to the inside of your lid.
Step 13: apply mascara to your lashes to give your eyes a bolder appearance.
Step 14 (optional): fill in your eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil that best matches your eyebrow color. A way that best works for me is the outline method, outline your eyebrows them fill in the middle. It's kind of like drawing inside the lines. Your eyebrows are not twins, but they should look something a like. Don't worry if they are too dark, that can easily be fixed with your spooley brush by brushing the product into/out of your brows until they reach your liking. (Notice the difference between my two eyebrows ones filled in and one isn't)

Step 15:  Outline your lips with a lip pencil that's darker than your lipstick/ lipgloss.

Step 16: Apply your lip gloss of choice

NOW THE FINISHED LOOK!

Beauty: What Defines It?

There is always a false misconception of what beauty really is floating amongst us. Most may say it's a reflection of what we are on the inside. While others may openly voice that beauty is consumed by the way we beat our faces, the most expensive designer we are rocking and the flashiest red bottoms we strut in.

Beauty
  1. 1.
a combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight.

There are no strict barriers or technicalities that pertain to beauty itself because it doesn't just have one definition.

Beauty is within the eyes of the beholder. It surrounds us on a daily bases; giving us life, joy and providing a voice in an artistic way.

Don't limit yourself! Be daring and choose stand out! Whether it's with bright colors, flashy accessories, and big bold look at me hair! There are no limitations when it comes to expressing yourself.

Less is More!!!! Happy and Stylish

It's easy to ruin an otherwise great outfit by choosing the wrong accessories. However, on the flip side, it's easy to make an ordinary outfit look great with the right accessories. If you don't know what to do when it comes to accessorizing the good news is it's easy to learn a few guidelines to complete your outfit and make it more stylish. I am a firm believer in simple yet stylish!!! You don't have to have on a lot of jewelry because it takes away from your outfit!! It's the simple things that matter!! Bring attention to your best points and minimize your worst

Bring an older outfit up-to-date and make it last another season with this season's accessories

Look and feel younger -- regularly updating your accessories is a great way to stay contemporary without having to spend a fortune

Get the "look" you want -- such as chic, elegant, sophisticated, wealthy, business, casual, fun, artistic and so on

Change the look of an outfit -- from casual to formal and vice versa, by changing the accessories you wear. For example, change your shoes, handbag and jewellery (and maybe your top too) to go from work to an evening event.

Remember ladies less is more...
  Happy  Accessorizing!!!!

Foundation: Finding the Right Shade

Have you ever gone to the store to pick up some foundation for a special occasion, or even for everyday use, and walk out with the totally wrong color? Well don't fret, we're here to help with that. After reading this article, you should be able to walk into any store and distinguish your foundation color.

One thing you should always remember, the perfect foundation will disappear onto your skin. If you've got the right shade, it will look as if you have nothing on. A second skin is what I like to call it. There are a number of drugstore brand foundations to choose from. Such as Revlon, Maybelline, Neutrogena, Loreal, Rimmel London, Black Radiance, Black Opal, NYX, etc. They also come in different forms like foam, liquid, cream, loose powder, pressed powder, and mineral. But once you find your correct shade, you will be able to navigate between brands and types.

Before any decisions are made, you should determine whether you'd like light coverage (if so, you should look for some tinted moisturizers) or medium coverage. If you feel that you may need a heavier coverage, calm yourself, a medium coverage foundation can be built upon to create a full coverage look.

So when trying to find your color, the inner wrist or hand aren't the best spots, contrary to popular belief. Instead, apply a stroke of up to three colors on a cheek or the jawline. Whichever disappears, is your color. Keep in mind that you might not find it on your first try. If you're in a store and there are no testers, hold a bottle up to your neck (not your face) to find your true color.

If you happen to be one of those people with an exotic skin tone that you can't match anywhere (like myself) finding the right shade can be daunting. The solution is simple, just take the two shades that seem to be closer to your tone and mix equal parts of the two. If you still do not feel comfortable with finding your own shade, you can head down to your local Sephora or Ulta store for help.
